Al-Shabaab Assassinates Somalia Parliamentarian

February 9, 2015-Geeskaafrika reports that al-Shabaab has killed Abdullahi Qayad Barre today. the parliamentarian was leaving his house in Mogadishu’s Hamajajab neighborhood when a gunmen opened fire on him. Mr. barre was rushed to Medina Hospital but doctors were unable to save him.
