IGAD-Led Peace Talks: No Agreement in Sight Yet

March 2, 2015-IGAD-led peace talks in Addis Ababa between the Government of South Sudan and rebel opposition Riek Machar are said to be moving along-albeit slowly. The Sudan Tribune reports that, despite a March 5 deadline, the two parties have not agreed on anything substantive, including security arrangements, federalism and economic reform.

President Kiir is reported to be traveling today to Addis Ababa to attend the talks.
