Ethiopia to hold three days of national mourning

Addis Ababa, 20 April 2015 (WIC) – The House People’s Representative (HPR) is expected to declare three days of national mourning for the 28 Ethiopians killed by Islamic State (IS) militants in Libya.

The government confirmed that those killed by the Islamic Sate were all Ethiopians.

Ethiopian flag will fly at half-mast across the country and at Ethiopian embassies worldwide to remember Ethiopians killed in Libya and South Africa.

The government of Ethiopia also expressed its heartfelt sympathy to the victims and their families.
